Originally from Derbyshire, I moved to Elmbridge in 1987. I currently work as a project manager for a Telecoms company

Hersham is a unique place, close to London, but blessed with lots of green spaces and with a real village feel. 

We have a challenge to maintain Hersham's character in the face of a number of forthcoming development proposals. While we need housing, particularly affordable housing for families, we need to protect the village from over-development.
