I’ve lived in The Dittons for over 25 years with Sophie and our 3 children, Thomas, Evie and Edward - all of whom attend or attended Hinchley Wood Secondary school. I have worked in the creative industries in marketing and business development for over 30 years. I have been an Elmbridge Borough Councillor since 2021, and in 2023-24 held the Finance Portfolio on the Cabinet.

Long Ditton is a fantastic place to live, with a keen sense of community and a great pride in its environment. Those two things were demonstrated admirably in 2023 as the campaign to get village green status for One Tree Hill and Stokes Field succeeded, which I was delighted to be able to assist as one of our 3 local Elmbridge Borough Councillors.   

The times we live in have been characterised by division and whilst Long Ditton demonstrated great community spirit in 2023, I want to continue to do things that bring people together, not set them apart. I also want to focus on doing our best to deliver a better future for our children - locally and nationally. Long Ditton has fantastic schools and great play areas and open spaces that need protecting.
