Wey Road goes Private?

Judging from your letters, emails and telephone calls many of you will be pleased to hear that Elmbridge has not consented today to the Surrey proposal that Wey Road and Round Oak Road be privatised.  On that basis privatization will not go ahead. I believe that the quality of a town depends on many aspects: some come to mind immediately - others like, mature, socially integrated public places and streets are not often considered but they nevertheless provide a vital weft to the weave of life.
