Local Campaigner Andy Burton is fighting for Claygate residents

Over the past four months, Liberal Democrat Campaigner Andy Burton has working closely with residents in Claygate to enable their voices to be heard.

Andy has spent time with residents on the Foxwarren Estate to collect and collate their views on issue varying from traffic and parking though to the decay of decommissioned garages on the estate.

Working with the residents Andy produced a report on his findings which he has sent to PA Housing Association, Surrey County Council and Elmbridge Borough Council seeking urgent engagement to address the issues.

Building on the success of this campaign, Andy has recently launched a further survey to improve the highways in and around the Esher/Claygate borders.

Andy said “I will continue to campaign on issues that matter to local residents and push Surrey County Council to take action to address residents concerns. ”
