James Kemp
I’m James Kemp, a nearby resident standing to represent West Molesey for the Liberal Democrats. I work in community outreach, support young people through a local football community trust, and have experience in SEN teaching, helping children with additional needs to thrive. Through this work, I’ve spent time in the area and listened to the issues that matter most—from parking and local services to community safety. I’m standing to make sure West Molesey gets the attention it deserves and isn’t overlooked, especially with major council changes ahead. I’ll be a visible, approachable councillor focused on delivering for our community.
Phillip Smith - Stevenson
I’m Phil, a resident of West Molesey, and I am standing for the Liberal Democrats. I work as a lecturer in education and was a primary school teacher and deputy head. As an avid runner and cycler, you can often find me in and around Hurst Park, or down by the River Mole, utilising the wonderful green spaces we have. I believe strongly that local voices matter and that local problems need local solutions; our green spaces are such an example. As a councillor, I would make sure that West Molesey’s voice is heard, represented, and given the importance it deserves.
